![]() ![]() Had I not run into those issues with Krita, I would have stuck with it. It kept telling me that Krita is running out of memory or something. Not really a huge issue but does get in the way of workflow. ![]() Seemed like every 10 minutes or so my cursor would freeze in place and then a line would be drawn across the screen. There are only 2 reasons why I stopped using Krita. But we all know how expensive photoshop is. It seems like you can't do that in any other software except photoshop. You can just paste as many as you want on or outside your canvas (which you already know of course). And omg what I absolutely *loved* about it was, and this is something that I think sets Krita aside from any other digital drawing software: Reference photos. ![]() Is Krita priced now?Īnyway, Krita was really nice for me. Whereas Krita which, I had before and was free. I have a dual device plan so I'm paying nearly $100 a year. But aside from that, it indeed does more or less the same things as other software, except you're paying more money in the long run. And that's one of the biggest things for me. The sub-categories are very well put together as well. There are a lot of things in csp that just generally have more quality to them. You also have a lot more comic and animation support with csp which is a big one for me. I find that a lot of the brushes on csp are MUCH higher quality than with krita, especially softer brushes (the airbrush is so much better) and many of the brushes in csp have a more organic feel to how they look. ex is more or less just the cushy version with some fancier features, it really isn't necessary for the most part. with pro I do think you're paying for what you get, ex slightly less so. while i don't think the difference between pro and ex is just either, i do think the software is amazing despite the slight scum. I've seen some who prefer it to photoshop even. krita is without a doubt one of the best free software out there and if you're a hobbyist or simply don't want to pay that kind of money then you're probably fine with krita, however, csp is honestly the best software I've used period. I've used krita in the past and csp is miles better from what I've experienced. Honestly i would say csp is worth it from an art standpoint. ![]()
